Our Game

As New Zealand’s largest regional softball organisation and the reigning Association of the Year, awarded at the Softball New Zealand Annual Awards, Canterbury Softball Association is proud to lead the delivery of softball across our region. From grassroots participation through to high-level competition, we provide a diverse range of competition products, tournaments and community initiatives designed to make softball accessible, enjoyable and sustainable for players of all ages and abilities.

Our club-based competitions span the full player journey:

• Under 7 (mixed gender) and Under 9 Tee Ball
  
• Under 11 Modified Softball
  
• Little League Softball (Under 13)
  
• Junior League Softball (Under 15 and Under 18)
  
• Rookie League (Under 23)
  
• Senior Softball - Premier, Reserve, Development, B Grade, C Grade and Social Mixed Grades

Alongside our club competitions, we deliver a vast range of softball opportunities and community initiatives that take the game beyond the diamond, connecting more people with softball and creating pathways for participation, development and lifelong involvement in our sport.
