Cheryl Kemp, Chief Executive
Cheryl has been involved with softball for 50 years having coached and played at club, regional and New Zealand level. Whilst having a good understanding of the sport, Cheryl’s career background involves administrative systems, marketing and the communication industry which brings a valued skill set to the association. Cheryl reports directly to the Chairman and is responsible for the implementation of the Board’s strategic plan and all staff.

Danielle Richardson, Operations Director Danielle brings a wealth of experience and integrity having grown up in the softball community. From on the diamond as a player, a an official umpire, and off the diamond as a senior club administrator and facilitator, her passion and enthusiasm for softball is immense. Danielle is responsible for delivering the competition and tournament products of the association, and adding value for the members through competition information, maintaining websites and, general assistance/availability to all teams and clubs. She brings to the role and impressive set of skills and attributes that will add value and maintain high standard of softball in our community we have all come to expect.
Anthea Stringer, Coach & Development
Anthea has played and coached softball for many years now, and she draws on this experience for her role. She has a background in personal training, sports massage, and coach & development across a number of sports, though Softball is her true passion. Anthea is responsible for education of athletes and coaches across all grades, together with the delivery of Community, school's Kiwi Sox and B5 programmes.
Lindsay Thomas, Digital & Coach Manager
Lindsay has coached Division I softball at Virginia Tech and Western Carolina University. At Virginia Tech she was the outfield coach, and assisted with hitting and pitching skills. At Western Carolina University she was the pitching and outfield coach, recruiting coordinator, camp and clinic director, and managed the team’s social media. She is also the co-founder of Training Untamed LLC, which specializes in mental skills training and has worked with national softball teams, universities, and high school organizations throughout the world. She will graduate with her Master’s in Sport Management this spring of 2021. She will be using her softball skills and professional experience to help continue the education and development of the sport through schools, clinics, mental training, and digital marketing within CSA.
